Travels in Chicago 99-00-01
Living our lives, we sometimes forget to look around to see what we have passed. We move from one task to another, from one place to another, taking a path that has been built for us. A path, which many others have walked before us. The streets are our paths. The city could be seen as one completely built environment, which is our home. Many of the rooms I have not walked in yet. The boundaries that shape Chicago, shape my home. All boundaries have a story to tell. We all have places we visit everyday. Do we take the same roads to get there? Do we start to turn left, but then turn right because the traffic is bad and you do not want to wait?
